Drug And Gun Arrest Made After 2-month Investigation.

Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports the arrest of a Shirley Avenue resident on narcotics and weapon charges following a two-month-long investigation.

 

On the morning of February 14, 2023, members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, along with the Buffalo Police’s Intel Unit, executed a search warrant signed by Buffalo City Court Judge Peter Savage at 107 Kerns Avenue.

 

Inside, officers recovered over four ounces of crack cocaine and a stolen .380 semi-automatic pistol.

 

The Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged 35-year-old Lionell Livingston of Buffalo with the following:

·         One felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance;

·         One felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell;

·         One felony count of criminal possession of a weapon;

·         One felony count of criminal possession of stolen property – firearm;

·         Three Class-A misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

 

The defendant is remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.

 

Livingston was using the Kerns Ave. residence to store the gun and crack cocaine.
