Domestic incident at the Batavia Thruway tolls lead to arrests.



State Police from the Buffalo barracks arrested Ann M. Claybourn, 43, of West Seneca, NY for Harassment 2nd degree; a Violation and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; a Class A Misdemeanor.  Scott E. Claybourn, 47, of Rochester, NY, was also arrested for Assault 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; all Class A Misdemeanors, following a domestic dispute.  On June 9, 2019 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Troopers responded to Mercy Ambulatory Care in Orchard Park, NY for a report of a patient receiving care, involved in a domestic disturbance that occurred at the Batavia Thruway tolls.  Investigation revealed that Ann Claybourn was at the Batavia Tolls for a child exchange with her ex-husband, Scott Claybourn and during the exchange, a physical altercation took place.       It was reported that Ann Claybourn punched her ex-husband multiple times and he allegedly kicked her vehicle and subsequently struck her as well, causing a laceration to her face.  The incident occurred in front of their 15-year-old daughter.  After receiving medical treatment and giving a statement, State Police arrested Ann Claybourn and transported her to SP Buffalo where she was processed without incident.  Claybourn was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Batavia Court on June 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Troopers made contact with Scott Claybourn, who voluntarily responded to SP Buffalo on June 11, 2019.  S. Claybourn was processed and released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Batavia Court on June 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
