Cheektowaga Police Investigating a Fatal Accident Along Genesee St involving Motorcyclist.

On September 27, 2020 at approximately 1810 hrs; there was a fatal accident on Genesee Street at Stratford Place in the Town of Cheektowaga.

A 2014 Chrysler 200, operated by a 51 year old male from Cheektowaga, NY and a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle, operated by a 29 year old male from Cheektowaga, NY, collided in the intersection of Genesee Street and Stratford Place. The motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was deceased at the scene and the driver of the car was transported to ECMC with minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation. The names are being withheld at this time pending notifications to family members
