Cheektowaga, NY, February 21, 2023 – On February 26, 2022, Cheektowaga Police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Clinton St. under the I-90 bridge.
The victim, identified as 64-year-old Paul Kitchen of Dearborn Avenue Buffalo, was given medical treatment at the scene and then transported to ECMC where he later passed away.
After an extensive investigation by CPD Officers, 32-year-old Frankie Hauser of Elk St. Buffalo was identified as the driver of the vehicle that struck Mr. Kitchen and then fled the scene.
Hauser was arraigned today in Erie County Court and charged with Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident Resulting in Death, a class D felony.
Hauser was released on his own recognizance.
