Buffalo Resident Arrested On Warrant By NY State Police.

On May 27th, 2021, New York State Police Troopers arrested Jennifer Szewczyk, 34, of Buffalo, for Grand Larceny 4thDegree and Trespass.

In April 2021, the Troopers responded to Home Depot in Dunkirk for a shoplifting complaint. Investigation revealed that Szewczyk walked out of Home Depot without paying for over $2,000.00 in flooring materials. Szewczyk had since left the scene but was identified through photographs by Home Depot employees. Further investigation revealed that there was an order banning Szewczyk from all Home Depot locations due to prior incidents. A warrant was obtained from the Dunkirk Town Court as attempts to locate Szewczyk had been unsuccessful. On May 27th, the Troopers were advised by Buffalo Police that Szewczyk was in their custody for one of their cases. Szewczyk was later turned over to the Troopers, processed at SP Fredonia and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
