Buffalo Police Officers Nearly Shot in Two Separate Incidents over the week. We are Glad to Report A

In two separate incidents, on two different days, officers from the Buffalo Police Department were shot at by violent criminals.

The first took place on Monday as officers were chasing suspects from a home invasion. During a lengthy foot chase one of the suspects fired at the pursuing officers. In all, three suspects were arrested, two handguns were recovered and no officers were injured.

On Tuesday an officer on patrol spotted a man with a gun and when she confronted him he pulled it out and fired at her. The officer displayed great courage as she drew her own weapon and returned fire. No one was struck in the exchange of gunfire and the suspect managed to escape.

The Badge of Honor Association would like to commend all of the officers involved in these two incidents for their courage and professionalism.
