Buffalo Police Make Several Arrests From Gambling to Gun Possession.



Buffalo police have arrested a dozen individuals in connection with illegal gambling. ​

Ferry - Fillmore officers responded to the call at 9:30pm Monday night in the 100 block of Theodore

Street. ​

Police say 12 people were gambling using dice inside a yard. Officers say none of the 12 lived there

and police seized over $1,800 dollars. ​

The 12 are charged with promoting gambling and trespassing. Arrested were Andre Pellam, Jaquan

Curry, Hadassah Quarles, James Bostic, Howard Pompey, Demetrius Robinson, Rahshib Callahan,

Howard Bishop, Johnnie Small, Dandre Steward, Terrance Chestnut all of Buffalo and Rickie

Robinson of Amherst. ​

Buffalo police arrested an individual in connection with a stolen bike incident. ​

Monday night at approximately 10:20pm Central District officers observed an individual in the 400

block of Elmwood on a bike that matched the description of a recently stolen one. ​

Buffalo police arrested 34 year old Miguel Molina of Buffalo and charged him with criminal possession

of stolen property and criminal possession of burglar tools.​

Officers recovered the Schwinn Cimarron bike valued at $200 and also recovered a bolt cutter and

wire stripper.​

Buffalo police recovered a black handgun early Monday morning near the vicinity of Langfield Avenue

and Edison Avenue. ​

The incident happened just before 1am Monday morning. ​

During a traffic stop, Northeast District officers recovered the handgun, several bundles of heroin and

crack cocaine. ​

Buffalo police arrested 23 year old Daqwan Joyner of Buffalo and 23 year old Michael Daniels of

Buffalo and charged them with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of

a narcotic drug with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree:8 ozs or

more, criminal possession of a loaded firearm, 2nd degree, unlawful possession of certain ammo

feeding device, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle.
