Buffalo police have arrested an individual in connection with the Wednesday night stabbing incident in
the 100 block of Deerfield Avenue.
The incident happened just before 7:10pm.
Northeast District detectives arrested 18 year old Isiah Collins of Buffalo and charged him with
assault, criminal possession of a weapon and false impersonation.
Detectives say that during a large fight on Deerfield, Collins stabbed a 20 year old Buffalo male.
Officers apprehended the defendant a short time later and say they recovered a knife.
The 20 year old is listed in fair condition at ECMC. A second victim, a 20 year old Buffalo male, was
stabbed during the fight and is also listed in fair condition at ECMC.
Buffalo police have arrested an individual in connection with a bank robbery.
The incident happened September 23rd just after 1pm at the Northwest Bank located in the 200 block
of Main Street.
Yesterday afternoon the suspect was spotted in the downtown area and taken into custody by Central
District officers.
37 year old Derrick Braggs of Buffalo was arrested and charged with robbery.
Buffalo police say they continue to investigate the three bank robberies that have occurred this week.
Detectives are looking into the similarities of the three incidents.
The first robbery occurred at the M&T Bank in the 600 block of Bailey Avenue late Monday morning.
Then an additional two robberies on Tuesday at the KeyBank located in the 3100 block of Bailey and
the Citizens Bank located in the 2100 block of Elmwood Avenue.
