Buffalo Police Make Arrests for Shooting on Walden Ave & Knife Incident on Kilhoffer St.

Buffalo police have arrested an individual in connection with a shooting incident that occurred Friday night. The incident happened at approximately 11:30pm at Walden Avenue and St. Louis Avenue. Homicide detectives say 20 year old Devontae Watson of Buffalo turned himself into police. Watson is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Detectives say Watson and the 37 year old male victim were involved in some type of argument that escalated. The 37 year old male victim of Buffalo is listed in critical condition at ECMC. Buffalo police arrested an individual in connection with a knife incident. Northeast District officers responded to the call just before 12 30am Sunday morning in the 100 block of Kilhoffer Street. Police say 21 year old Tahzjay White of Amherst threw a knife at another individual during some type of dispute before hitting that individual with a stove grate. White is charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon with intent to use. The 22 year old male victim was transported to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.
