Buffalo Police Investigating a Stabbing on Best St & Advise of Paving Project.

Buffalo police continue to investigate a stabbing incident involving people known to each other. The incident happened Monday evening just before 5:30pm in the 100 block of Best Street. Central District officers say a female stabbed a male with a knife during some type of dispute. Detectives say the incident is a pending investigation at this time. The male was transported to ECMC where he was treated and released. Buffalo police remind you of the Pearl Street paving project that is underway from Tupper Street to Lower Main. City officials say the project should be completed by late next week, weather permitting. Once completed, Pearl Street will be converted from a one way street to a two way street. During the paving project, Pearl Street will remain open but expect restricted lane travel. Buffalo police also remind you of tonight's Sabres preseason opener at KeyBank Center starting at 7pm. Police say you should anticipate additional traffic in the Canalside area and Harbor Center area.
