Buffalo Police Dept Receive K-9 First Aid Kits.

The City of Buffalo and the Buffalo police department would like to thank the Buddy's Second Chance canine rescue group for their generous donation.

Yesterday morning, December 1, at police headquarters the group donated three first aid kits for the department's K-9 corp.

Commissioner Daniel Derenda thanked Buddy's Second Chance for their generous donation and their concern.

The three new first aid kits mean that all five of the department's K-9 members now have one.

Police officials said the K-9's are sometimes in dangerous situations on the job and the emergency kits can be invaluable to their health and safety.
