Buffalo Police Dept Gets 42 New Recruits.

On January 19, 2018, Mayor Byron Brown and Interim Police Commissioner Byron C. Lockwood, swore in 42 new police recruits. The ceremony took place at Waterfront Elementary School with hundreds of family and friends attending.

The recruits will now begin 6 months of basic training.

Congratulations and we wish you the best!

And a Special Congratulations to the Forero Family on the recruitment of Michael Forero. He follows in his fathers footsteps as his dad, a personal friend of mine had retired from the Buffalo Police Crash Investigations Unit not so long ago. We wish you and all these fine officers the very best!
