Buffalo, NY man arrested for Felony DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, and Op
On May 8, 2017, at approximately 10:30 p.m., State Police responded to 1 Peace Bridge Plaza, in the City of Buffalo for an anonymous report of a possible intoxicated driver. The driver of the vehicle, Gary D. Bishop, age 38, of Buffalo, NY, was found to be intoxicated and operating a leased vehicle without a Interlock Device. Bishop was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo. While at SP Buffalo Bishop submitted to a breath test to determine the alcohol or drug content in his system, which returned a positive reading of .08% BAC. Additionally, Bishop has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with:
Driving While Intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years; a Class E Felony.
Operating a motor vehicle with .08% or more BAC with a previous conviction; a Class E Felony.
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree; a Class E Felony.
Operation of a Leased or Rented Vehicle without an Interlock Device installed; a Class A Misdemeanor.
Bishop was transported to City of Buffalo Central Booking and held for arraigned in the City of Buffalo Court on May 9, 2017, at 8:30 a.m.
