Buffalo Man Who Fired A Fatal Shot Then Crashed His Car Onto Expressway Pleads Guilty.
Acting District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr. announces that 20 year-old Leonard Robinson, a/k/a POODER, of 84 Alexander Street, Buffalo, has pleaded guilty to one count of Murder in the Second Degree before Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang.
On November 29, 2015, Robinson murdered 42 year-old Antoin Vance inside of his home at 302 Purdy Street, Buffalo, by shooting him with an illegal pistol after an argument over money. Robinson also shot and injured 24 year-old Dominique Jackson, Vance’s niece who was an innocent bystander.
While fleeing the scene of the shooting, Robinson drove a car off of Humboldt Parkway - crashing onto the lower section of the Kensington Expressway with the vehicle landing upside down.
Robinson was taken into custody in Los Angeles, California, where he was located through the joint effort of the US Marshalls Service and Buffalo Police Department.
Robinson faces a maximum prison sentence of 18 years-to-life in state prison when he is sentenced on July 20, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. by Justice Wolfgang.
