On December 18, 2016, at 5:00 pm, Troopers responded to a two vehicle head on collision on Boston State Road near Chestnut Ridge Road in the Town of Boston, NY. A 2007 Toyota Prius traveling south bound on Boston State Rd and a 2008 Ford Explorer traveling north bound struck each other head on. The operator of the Toyota, Peachy J. Schrockk, 63 of Derby, NY was taken to Mercy Ambulatory Care Center were she was pronounced deceased. The 19 year old operator of the Ford was taken to Erie County Medical Center for minor injuries.
Collision Reconstruction Unit is on scene.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
