Arrest Made In Assault Case Where Subject Sliced Victims Throat.

Assault at Wood Springs Campground – Benjamin M. Perkins of Elma was charged with felony counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on 9/27/20 during a physical altercation with the victim.

During the altercation, Perkins sliced the throat of the victim with scissors causing serious injury.

Perkins turned himself in at the Elma Substation and was subsequently arraigned and released.
