Another Late Night Drug Arrest in Closed After-hours Parks.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of 50-year-old Kevin Case of Buffalo following an after-hours check of a County park on October 31.

At approximately 12:07 a.m., a Deputy performed a premise check at Black Rock Canal Park in Buffalo. The Deputy observed a vehicle in the parking lot with a single occupant.  When the Deputy approached the vehicle, they observed a glass pipe in plain view.

It took multiple attempts to wake the male occupant, and finally, the subject responded.  Case admitted to possessing methamphetamine, and a search discovered four small plastic bags containing meth.

Case was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance and a violation for trespassing.

The defendant was released on appearance tickets.
