[AMHERST POLICE, NY] -- Graduation:
The Amherst Police Department would like to recognize Officer Richard Caito and Police Service Dog Harley for completing the Niagara Regional Police Service’s Basic Canine course. Officer Caito’s new partner, Harley, is a two (2) year old pure bred German Shepard from the Czech Republic.
Together they completed this fifteen (15) week course and are certified in:
Narcotics Detection
Building, area and article searches
Obedience
Criminal Apprehension
Handler Protection
