Allegany Man Arrested By ECSO For Driving With 27 Active Suspensions.

Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports the arrest of a town of Allegany resident following a traffic stop on Route 219 at approximately 7:05 p.m. on March 28, 2023.

A deputy observed a vehicle traveling southbound without a visible license plate. The deputy’s investigation discovered that 26-year-old Bryce Tarbox had twenty-three suspensions on eleven different dates. The investigation also revealed that the vehicle was not insured.

Tarbox was arrested and charged with a felony count of aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation, three different vehicle violations, and traffic law violations for operating a vehicle without a license plate, insurance, and inspection.

The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
