Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports deputies made three arrests at the Garth Brooks’ concert, which was held Saturday, 7/23/2022.
Among those arrested was 45-year-old John Gugino of Hamburg. The individual is charged with criminal trespass-3rd, a misdemeanor, and a violation of harassment-2nd. The defendant was processed at the stadium and released with appearance tickets returnable to Orchard Park Town Court.
Although the Erie County Sheriff’s Office has not received a formal complaint against any deputies, the agency is investigating the incident.
“The fact that Matt Spina authored and the Buffalo News published an article based on hearsay,” said Sheriff Garcia, “does a disservice to the agency and its ability to continue its investigation regarding this incident.”
The other arrests were:
· Steven Carnrike, 30, of Lockport, for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration;
· Matthew Costello, 32, of Youngstown, for criminal trespass. (no mug shot available at this time)
Each defendant was processed and released with appearance tickets.
