2 Traffic Stops Nets 4 Drug Arrests.
Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Zamorek performed two separate traffic stops which resulted in the arrests of four individuals on drug-related charges.
December 18, 10:50 P.M., Town of Holland – A vehicle was stopped on South Main Street after the Deputy observed a vehicle and traffic violation. During the Deputy’s investigation, he discovered a quantity of concentrated cannabis and a felony amount of marijuana. Subsequent to the investigation the driver and his passenger were arrested and taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending their arraignment in Town of Holland Court.
Charged were Andrew Harmon, 24 of Portville, NY, and John Forrest, 23 of Olean. Harmon is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, as well as two separate vehicle and traffic violations. Forrest is charged with three separate felony counts of criminal possession of marijuana – more than sixteen ounces, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Forrest is also charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
December 19, 2:58 A.M, City of Buffalo – Deputy Zamorek stopped a vehicle on Fillmore Ave near Clinton Street for vehicle and traffic law violations. During his investigation, the Deputy discovered a quantity of heroin and needles in the vehicle. The operator, Michael Hall – 47 of Buffalo, and his passenger, Brittani O’Sullivan – 26 of Buffalo, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Both defendants were taken to the holding center where they were later released after posting $100.00 cash bail.
