2 Subjects Arrested On Drug-Related Charges.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a wanted subject following a traffic stop.

On August 9, at approximately 2:40 a.m., a Deputy performed a traffic stop at William and Fillmore in the City of Buffalo after observing vehicle and traffic law violations. During the investigation, the Deputy discovered 36-year-old Danielle Martinez of Buffalo, the passenger, was wanted on two felony warrants out of Cheektowaga and two felony warrants out of Buffalo. She was taken into custody

The Deputy also discovered two crack pipes and a quantity of crack cocaine in the occupants’ possession.

59-year-old Philip Cone of Buffalo, the operator, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a controlled substance, and a vehicle and traffic law violation. He was released on appearance tickets.

Martinez was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending court proceedings.
